This Will Cost You
Just as stubborn as the people who made the Golden calf
I am your bride
You lift my veil
And standing in front of me is that golden calf
I still feel your love when you reveal my deepest sin
They say you wait patiently because you are a gentleman
So I stand at the well and wait to drink from you
Realizing I am thirsty for you
They say you discipline those you love
It’s not only that they say this
But the truth being revealed through each and every book
Testifying to your loving nature
So much so when you remove the veil from my eyes and your Holy spirit, in its still voice says
This will cost you
I don’t feel condemned
Nor shame
But deeply deeply loved
This walk will cost me
The world
That sin
That golden calf
Will cost me
You
The King and His divine kingdom
It’s an indirect question, which one are you willing to lose?
Chose.
